Accepted assignments

Service terms.

Effective 16 September 2026.

1. Relationship with the quotation

These terms apply only after Signifidem accepts an assignment. The written quotation or order confirmation identifies the files, pages, languages, required result, included review, price, taxes, payment terms, target delivery date, correction period, exclusions and special conditions. If there is a conflict, the specific written order terms prevail, subject to mandatory law.

2. No automatic acceptance

An enquiry, estimate, preliminary discussion or transfer of a file does not require Signifidem to accept the work. Acceptance occurs only when Signifidem confirms the scope in writing, the client accepts it, and any required payment condition is met.

3. Client authority and source material

The client confirms that it is authorised to provide the source material, request the instructed work and use the result. The client must provide complete, legible and accurate files, instructions, reference material, spelling of names, figures and terminology reasonably needed for the assignment.

4. Lawful use

Signifidem may refuse or stop work involving suspected fraud, forgery, impersonation, deceptive alteration, infringement, unlawful concealment or evasion of an authenticity requirement. Signatures, seals, stamps, certificates, identity or authentication elements and security features are not altered.

5. Scope and changes

Only the work expressly included in the accepted scope is covered. Additional or replacement files, pages, languages, target uses, instructions, formatting, review requirements or deadlines may change feasibility, price and timing. A material change is performed only after written reassessment and acceptance.

6. Price, taxes and payment

The accepted quotation states the price, applicable VAT or other taxes, currency, payment schedule and any advance payment. Production may be withheld until an agreed payment condition is satisfied. Bank, payment-provider, conversion or transfer charges are borne as stated in the quotation or, if not stated, by the party charged by its provider.

7. Timing

A delivery date begins from the later of written acceptance, receipt of required payment, receipt of usable source material and receipt of necessary client instructions. Client delay, replacement material, added scope or events outside reasonable control may require a revised date. Urgent work is binding only when expressly accepted in writing.

8. Review and intended use

The quotation defines whether the assignment includes standard document production, additional linguistic review, subject-matter review or regulated review. No legal, financial, medical, engineering, regulatory, notarial or other specialist approval is implied unless expressly included. The client must disclose the intended use and any authority-specific requirement known to it.

9. Client confirmation and open questions

Where a source is ambiguous, damaged, inconsistent or incomplete, Signifidem may request instructions, state an assumption, limit the work or refuse the affected part. The client is responsible for confirming names, identifiers, technical data and instructions that cannot be established reliably from the source.

10. Corrections

A correction means bringing the delivered document into conformity with the accepted scope. A new instruction, changed preference, replacement source, additional content or new use is additional scope. The applicable quotation states the correction-request period. Nothing in this section limits a remedy required by mandatory law.

11. Cancellation and suspension

A cancellation request is handled according to the accepted order, the work already performed, committed third-party costs and applicable mandatory law. Signifidem may suspend work while required instructions, approvals or payment are outstanding. Where performance cannot lawfully or reliably continue, the assignment may be limited or terminated with an account of work already performed.

12. Delivery and acceptance

The client receives the deliverable stated in the order, normally a finished PDF and any expressly agreed accompanying material. Internal production files, editable structures, tools and methods are not included. The client must inspect the delivery and report a claimed scope defect with enough detail to identify it.

13. Confidentiality and file transfer

Sensitive material must be transferred only through the channel designated for the assignment. Access, permitted use, retention and deletion are governed by the order, privacy notice and applicable law. Sending a file through an unapproved channel does not make that channel approved.

14. Notarial and public-authority services

Notarial certification, apostille, legalisation, sworn or public-authority authentication and official acceptance are not included unless expressly agreed as a separate service. Signifidem does not guarantee acceptance by a third party whose requirements are outside the accepted scope.

15. Liability and mandatory rights

Any limitation or allocation of liability is stated in the accepted order and applies only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.

16. Governing law

The assignment is governed by the law stated in the accepted order or, if none is stated, the laws of Israel, without limiting mandatory rights that another applicable law grants to the client.
