Defined input
The covered files, pages, source and target languages, usable reference material and client instructions are identified.
The client specifies the required result. Signifidem defines the scope, controls production and assumes responsibility for the agreed finished PDF.
The depth of each stage depends on the file, intended use, subject matter and risk.
A non-confidential description establishes the document type, languages, approximate extent, intended use, deadline and required change.
If appropriate, the file is received through an agreed channel. Feasibility, limitations, deliverables, price, timing and review requirements are then confirmed.
The agreed operations are performed: translation, authorised editing, adaptation, reconstruction or a defined combination. Signatures, seals and authenticity features are not altered.
Content is checked within the agreed review scope. Every page is visually inspected for structure, hierarchy, tables, numbering, omissions, overflow and visible defects.
Open questions are resolved or recorded. The client receives the agreed finished PDF and any expressly agreed accompanying material.
A file may be refused, limited to selected pages or accepted subject to stated assumptions when reliable production or review is not possible across the whole document.
Licensed, certified or specialist review is included only when it has been expressly defined for that assignment. No industry approval or certification is implied by this process.
The quotation or order confirmation becomes the operational boundary for the job. A request, uploaded file or preliminary discussion is not enough.
The covered files, pages, source and target languages, usable reference material and client instructions are identified.
The deliverable, intended use, assurance level, included review and any exclusions or limitations are stated.
Price, taxes, payment condition, target delivery date, correction window and secure transfer method are confirmed.
Production starts after the client accepts the defined scope and any required advance payment is received.
Additional files, replacement source material, a different target language, new instructions or a changed deadline may alter feasibility, price and delivery time.
Such changes are not silently absorbed into the original assignment. Their effect is confirmed before they are added to production.
The client remains responsible for authority to provide the source material and to request the instructed changes.
Authorised corrections and adaptations are distinguished from silent alteration. Ambiguities, suspected source errors and missing information are raised for confirmation where they may affect the result.
Signifidem does not accept assignments intended to deceive, forge, impersonate, conceal an unlawful change or defeat an authenticity requirement.
Describe the document, required result, languages, approximate pages and deadline. File transfer is agreed only after the initial assessment.
